Filiz: Habit Tracker ("Filiz", "the app") is built to keep your habits private. In short: there's no account, no server of ours that stores your data, no advertising and no tracking. Your habits live on your devices.
What Filiz stores, and where
Filiz stores the habits you create, the progress you log, your optional display name and your app settings. This data is saved on your iPhone, in a storage area shared only with Filiz's own widgets, Live Activity and Apple Watch app on your devices. Filiz does not send it to us or to anyone else.
If you use the Apple Watch app, your iPhone sends today's habits to your paired watch, and habits you log on the watch are sent back to your iPhone. This happens directly between your own devices using Apple's WatchConnectivity.
Apple Health
Connecting Apple Health is optional. If you connect it, Filiz reads only the types you allow: steps, dietary water, exercise minutes, mindful minutes and sleep. It uses them only to fill in the habits you link to Health, on your device.
- Filiz never writes data to Apple Health.
- Health data is never sent off your device, sold, shared, or used for advertising or marketing.
- You can turn off access at any time in the Health app: tap your profile, then Apps, then Filiz.
Notifications
Reminders, the daily check-in and the weekly recap are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. You can turn them off in the app's Settings or in iOS Settings.
Purchases
Filiz Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple. We don't receive your name, payment details or Apple Account information. The app only checks with Apple whether your subscription is active.
What Filiz doesn't do
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, and no tracking across apps or websites.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
Your choices
In the app, go to Profile, then Settings, to export your data as a file or delete all of it. Deleting the app also removes its data from your device.
Children
Filiz is not directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
